Back rower Matt Hodgson was the best fantasy player for much of the season and said goodbye to us with the Force's loss to the Brumbies over the weekend. South Africans Warren Whitely and Boom Prinsloo were also elite options in the back row.
Bulls halfback and backline utility Francois Hougaard was a top three option in his position all year while Beauden Barrett and Marnitz Boshoff anchored many squads in the five eighth spot.
Rebels fullback Jason Woodward was a fantasy revelation for much of the year and was arguably the best value play in our game.
So who's left? Well, if you followed my advice last week and loaded up on Sharks, Brumbies, Chiefs and Highlanders, then you're in a good spot right now - if not, then you'll have to use your eight transfers wisely before Saturday night.
To summarise our position - the Waratahs and Crusaders are on a bye and will play the winners of this weekend's fixtures next round. So if you've got plenty of players from these sides it would be a good idea to store them on your bench this weekend.
That leaves us with the aforementioned sides to plunder from while keeping in mind that only two will progress to play again this season. The favourites are the Brumbies and the Sharks, so keep the majority of your pickups to these sides if you agree with the bookies.
Of the four teams in action this weekend, the best matchup on paper belongs to the Sharks.
From the slim pickings that their squad presents I would recommend Bismarck du Plessis ($3,800,000), Marcell Coetzee ($4,100,000) and Francois Steyn ($9,290,000) as solid plays this weekend.
Their opposition, the Highlanders, have been a strong fantasy squad all season and I still have faith that at least their forwards can post good points against a stingy Sharks side.
Given that, Joe Wheeler ($3,730,000), Shane Christie ($3,810,000) and Kane Hames ($2,590,000) should perform well on Sunday morning.
In Canberra on Saturday night I'm picking Matt Toomua ($8,600,000) and Christian Lealiifano ($8,900,000) to have strong games while Scott Sio ($4,190,000), Jarrad Butler ($3,580,000) and Henry Speight ($10,130,000) could also post solid results.
The Chiefs present a wealth of options of which Aaron Cruden ($9,150,000) and Ben Tameifuna ($4,120,000) are the best on paper. We should also expect solid days from Liam Messam ($6,840,000) and Liam Squire ($5,070,000).
