Cricket: Trophy win for Northern Districts

Northern Districts has beaten Auckland by two wickets in their Shell Trophy cricket match in Hamilton.

Northern started the day on 91 for three but got the wobbles late in their second innings, losing wickets in quick succession before reaching the target of 173.

Mark Bailey was ND's top second innings scorer with 76 while Chris Drum was the best of the bowler for Auckland taking 3 wickets for 32.
