Bowler Kyle Mills has been added to the Black Caps squad to play the West Indies in the third one-day cricket international in Christchurch on Saturday.
Mills, who has had a groin strain, has been added to the squad for the Jade Stadium game only.
He comes in as coverfor Michael Mason, who has a mild lower back strain following the second match in Queenstown yesterday.
A new squad will be selected after Saturday's game.
New Zealand lead 2-0 in the five-match series after yesterday's three-wicket win in Queenstown.
