The New Zealand women's basketball team beat Taiwan 70-67 in Taiwan today.
The match was played after the William Jones Cup tournament in which the New Zealanders suffered only one loss -- 74-70 to Taiwan yesterday.
"We demonstrated improvement again," coach Mike McHugh said.
