Badminton New Zealand have named 10 players to contest the world teams championships in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, in February.
The Thomas and Uber Cups represent a key strategy in Badminton NZ's aim of winning three medals at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester next year.
Good performances in Eindhoven will bring ranking points, which translate into seedings at Manchester.
New Zealand will be chasing their second medal in the Games teams event, after the men won bronze in Kuala Lumpur three years ago.
