Vinomofo is an online wine store that is changing the wine world. More than just a store, it's a movement of vino loving mofos that's growing daily; it's a place where everyone is welcome, a place for the drinkers and the makers - united by wine.
With an emphasis onenjoyment, not elitism, Vinomofo is a breath of fresh air. Wines featured on the site are carefully selected and curated by a small team of buyers who're ruthless about quality - you can expect only the best premium wines to pass the test. Oh, and you won't find them cheaper anywhere else. And then there's the '100% Mofo Happiness Guarantee' whereby Vinomofo will refund and arrange pick up for any wine you've ordered and you don't like, for whatever reason.
The company was founded in an Adelaide garage in 2011 by brothers-in-law André Eikmeier and Justin Dry. The startup has grown into a tribe of more than 450,000 mofos and employs 120+ people.
Having firmly established itself in Australia, Vinomofo has begun its global expansion with New Zealand the first stop on their 'round the world wine adventure.
The founders recently visited New Zealand to film a '48 hrs on Waiheke Island' feature. The buying team have also been scouring the best producers in the country to stock the site. There was a clear affinity with both the quality of wines and the down-to-earth nature of the producers and the New Zealand wine buying public.
With an overwhelming response to the first online pop-up sale in New Zealand, the launch of the permanent site has been brought forward, the official launch date is 9th August.
The experience is slick and the site is open so join us for an adventure www.vinomofo.co.nz
