While there will be plenty of action on the track at the Supercars ITM Auckland SuperSprint in Pukekohe on the 4-6 November, there will be no shortage of entertainment off the track.
The fun will be for all ages - there's a Family Zone, Music Entertainment Zone, as well as the Garden Bar and Merchandise Alley.
The Family Zone consists of a fun, fenced off area for kids aged 3 to 13 and it will be open throughout the weekend. There will be bouncy castles, inflatable slides, obstacle courses and a climbing wall as well as face painters. It will be located between gate 2 and gate 3, between 10am - 4pm.
For the adults, there will be roaming entertainment throughout the venue. On Friday, Blue Matter, who are a 4-piece gypsy band that play in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stephanie Grappelli, will be wandering around playing at a couple of sites before taking the stage in the Garden Bar area. The Garden Bar will be open between 10am and 6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Other bands who will be playing throughout the weekend at the ITM Auckland SuperSprint include Banda Latina - a Latin band consisting of guitar, trumpet, percussion, maracas players and two dancing girls. Empty Roomz are a 5-piece band that play RnB, soul, funk, rock and reggae. And also Party Rockers will feature - they are a 4-piece band that play rock classics.
The national anthems will be performed by Anna Hawkins on both Saturday and Sunday, while Ngati Tamaoho Trust will be performing the haka throughout the weekend.
Hawkins has two albums, with her latest Divine spending five weeks in the New Zealand album charts. As a solo artist she has toured with Paul Potts, performed at Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park, as well as the Rugby World Cup and she has featured at the Supercars in the past.
Merchandise Alley is located either side of the service road at the top of the hill between Gate 2 and 3. It is open all weekend and it's a chance for fans to stock up on their favourite team's merchandise and Supercars gear.
Heletranz will be taking Heli-Hot Laps around the track for those that want that little bit more in their experience while there is also the ever-popular Beach Hop Display with all the cars that have proved so popular at the Beach Hop event the past few years.
