The residential property market appeared to build confidence in February with an increased national median selling price, higher volumes and shorter-days-to-sell figures, says Graeme Woodley, national president of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ). The national median selling price for February was up from $227,750 in January to $231,000, with rises in six regions and falls in four. National sales rose from 8404 in January to 9940 in February, while the number of days to sell dropped from 32 in January to 29 in February.
