Broadcaster Tony Veitch has pleaded guilty to reckless disregard causing injury.

The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment.

Six charges of assault laid against the 35-year-old former TVNZ and Radio Sport host over allegations he beat up his former partner, Kristin Dunne-Powell, have been dropped.
