A woman suffered life-threatening injuries and her dog was killed when she was struck by a car on a busy Auckland road early this evening.
The woman was walking her dogs when she was hit by a car outside the Kohimarama Yacht Club at around 6.15pm, police said.
One of
the dogs was killed. The woman has been taken to Auckland City Hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating, police said.
