Woman killed in collision in Hastings

A woman was killed in a car accident in Hastings yesterday.


Keri Gail Maere, 47, of Bridge Pa, was killed in the 1.50pm two-vehicle accident, Hastings police Senior Sergeant Ross Smith said in a statement.


Other people involved in the accident were not seriously hurt.


No further details were available.


Land Transport Safety Authority figures show 12 people have been killed on the roads so far this year, compared to 11 at the same time last year.
