Woman injured in gang disturbance

Police undertake a crash investigation on Miriam St, Masterton, following a two-car collision in which a female was seriously injured.

Masterton's Miriam St was cordoned off shortly after 6.30pm on Sunday evening following reports of a vehicle collision involving gang members.
Police discovered an injured woman at the scene with serious injuries, possibly as a result of the vehicle collision.
The woman was taken to Wairarapa Hospital and was airlifted to Wellington for further treatment.
Police officers remained on site for two hours supervising an investigation of the vehicles and impact zone.
