Woman charged with murder over partner's death

A woman appeared in Kaikohe District Court today accused of murdering her partner in Northland at the weekend.

Anthony Garvey, 27. was stabbed to death at a house in a Kawakawa house on Saturday afternoon.

Murder accused Rangi Marie Reti, 38, was today remanded in custody until next week.

Police earlier said they were still seeking witnesses to any incidents that occurred that day in the vicinity of Whiteman Rd and Leonard St.

They said they still had to talk to a number of residents or people who attended social events in the area.
