Woman charged with altering name on electoral roll

A 23-year-old New Plymouth woman has been charged with altering another woman's name to Fat Ass on the electoral roll. She will appear in New Plymouth District Court in about two weeks.

Victim Kylene Soar said two weeks ago she had received a letter on August 8 from the Electoral Enrolment Centre that had her first names as "Kylene Fat Ass" which made her both disgusted and angry.
