Wellington airport back to normal after fog lifts

Flights are back to normal at Wellington airport this morning after fog caused diversions last night.

Airport company duty manager Ian Pocock said seven flights were diverted after fog and rain set in late in the evening.

The domestic flights were forced to turn back, while the international flights -- two from Sydney and one from Brisbane -- were diverted to Auckland.
