Another reacted: “I don’t see an issue here two slower vehicles holding up traffic that could have used that lane to let others pass. The other car ‘undertaking’ might have scared the bejesus out of you two but, completed the move without effecting [sic] you two, and got on with their journey,” wrote another.

Last month, shocking dashcam footage captured the five-minute journey of a rental van driving erratically on a rural Auckland road, crossing the centre line and narrowly avoiding oncoming traffic.
The driver of the vehicle that captured the footage — who wished to remain anonymous — told the Herald they were leaving Piha Beach with some friends on Monday about 5.30pm and were stunned when the van began swerving across the winding rural West Auckland road.
Road incidents and unsafe drivers can be reported by dialling *555 to report road incidents which are urgent but not life-threatening.
It includes such things as non-injury crashes, traffic congestion, breakdowns and obstructions on the highway.
Non-urgent incidents of poor driving where the reporter does not wish the offender to be prosecuted can be reported to Roadwatch here.
