"I was blown away when the team at Holden reached out to me and offered the use of a new Colorado to get me mobile again," Faamausili said.
Holden managing director Kristian Aquilina said the company was pleased to be able to help Faamausili.
"We, along with the rest of the country, are really proud of the Black Ferns winning the Rugby World Cup and it's a privilege to be able to do something small for their captain to recognise their success.
"Fiao'o was really gracious and incredibly thankful that we were able to help her out of a sticky situation."
The Black Ferns arrived back in New Zealand on Monday after winning the Women's Rugby World Cup.
New Zealand beat England 41-32 in the final in Belfast to win the trophy for the fifth time.
The Black Ferns are not paid professionals like the England women's rugby team.

Black Fern Portia Woodman told media at Auckland Airport on their return that the team would like "a bit more support".
"Imagine what we could achieve if we were somewhat paid," she said.
Faamausili, along with two other Black Ferns players, works as a police officer.
