Save A diver has been pulled unconscious from the water at Blanket Bay, Doubtful Sound.
Two patients have been taken to Kew Hospital in Invercargill following a diving incident in Blanket Bay.
Police said earlier that a diver had been pulled from the water at Blanket Bay in Doubtful Sound and was unconscious.
But St John said in a statement that two patients had been
taken to hospital and were in a moderate condition.
Police and ambulance both responded and a helicopter attended the scene.
The report came at 1.45pm from a boat on the water in the area.
