Emergency services are currently attending two multiple-vehicle crashes in the upper North Island.
The first is a four-car crash on SH1 near Huntly. Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) shift supervisor Daniel Nicholson said the fire service was called to the scene at 3.10pm.
The crash happened in the northboundlane, just past Placemakers.
The road is blocked.

It happened at about 3.19pm near the intersection of Old Railway Rd and Taupaki Rd, she said.
It is believed at this stage that at least two people had sustained minor injuries, she said.
