Newstalk ZB

Two people are injured after the car they were travelling in plunged around 30 metres down a cliff near Dunedin.

A police spokesman says the male occupant had to be removed from the vehicle that rolled several times, while the female managed to free herself.

He says authorities were sent to the scene shortly before 11.30am on George King Memorial Drive.

The Westpac rescue helicopter was involved in the recovery.
