Tuffey?s partner will stand by her man

Disgraced New Zealand cricketer Daryl Tuffey's partner Shanna Parsons is standing by her man.
The fast bowler was fined $1000 by New Zealand Cricket on Tuesday for serious misconduct after admitting he was caught on video in a sexual act with a Christchurch woman last November.
Former Black Cap Simon Doull said yesterday that Tuffey and Ms Parsons ? a couple of just over two years ? were still together.
They recently bought a $500,000 house together in Auckland's St Heliers suburb.
Ms Parsons told a newspaper in India in 2003 that she was used to women showing interest in her partner.
"I'm okay with all the female attention coming his way. Even back home, he's much sought after. I know he's good looking and the adulation is part of sport."
Doull believed NZ Cricket had blown the incident out of proportion.
"It should have never got as far as it did."
Doull said the initial complaint had come from the new boyfriend of the woman in the tape.
"As soon as he contacted New Zealand Cricket they should have said 'So what?'
"I don't think there's any misconduct at all," Doull said.
"Since when has having some sort of contact with the opposite sex been misconduct?" ? NZPA
