The truck driver injured in Monday's collision with a school bus in the Bay of Plenty has been let out of hospital.
The 41-year-old is recuperating with whanau.
His uncle Hemana Waaka says a police report about the accident will be released in due course.
An eight-year-old girl remains in
a critical but stable condition in Starship Hospital.
Five other children are still in Whakatane and Tauranga Hospitals, and all are comfortable and stable.
