Three men are facing drugs and firearms-related charges after police searched properties in Palmerston North.
Police said with assistance from the Armed Offenders Squad they executed two search warrants in the Palmerston North suburb of Highbury on Wednesday morning.
A rifle, pistol, ammunition and 19cannabis plants were found and seized by police.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with cultivating cannabis and possession of a pistol.
A 19-year-old man was charged with unlawful possession of ammunition and breaching bail, while a second man, also aged 19, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
All three men are set to appear in Palmerston North District Court on Thursday.
