A 15-year-old girl who worked as a stripper in a Nelson club is back in Child, Youth and Family care after being found on the streets by her father.
The father wants Visions Revue Bar in Hardy St closed down after his daughter, whom he claims had been stripping for several weeks, was found at the club by police.
The man has become increasingly concerned for his daughter's safety after she continually ran away from CYF care in Nelson over three days and was reported missing again on Tuesday.
He said that despite CYF assurances that the girl was being put on a daily plan to ensure social workers knew where she was, he picked her up in Hardy St near the club yesterday afternoon and took her to Nelson police station.
