A taxi has crashed into a house in Christchurch, after its driver suffered an apparent cardiac arrest.
Emergency services were called to the house on Staveley Street in Avonhead about 6.10pm.
Police say the patient isn't breathing and suffered a medical event.
At least three ambulances and two fire engines
are at the scene.
The house has been damaged and the Serious Crash Unit is on its way.
