Talented chimp dies at Wellington Zoo

Jodi the chimpanzee, mother, artist and documentary star, has died of cancer. The 25-year-old Wellington Zoo primate had inoperable kidney tumours.

Jodi was an artist and was filmed in a BBC documentary about giving human rights to apes. Her son Gombe also lives at the zoo.
