Progressive Enterprises has recalled a fan heater due to a potentially dangerous manufacturing fault.
The 2000 watt heater was sold under the "Home Collection" brand name in Countdown, Foodtown, Woolworths, SuperValue and FreshChoice supermarkets.
The heaters were recalled because incorrect assembly meant wires could come into contact with the heating element possibly causing smoke, fumes or fire.
Customers have been asked to return the heater, called the "Home Collection 2000W Oscillating Fan Heater" model number NFE20O, for a full refund.
