Stabbed woman out of hospital, another in court

A woman stabbed in the small town of Orewa north of Auckland yesterday is out of hospital.

A second woman has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and was due to appear in North Shore District Court today.

The stabbed woman was taken to hospital after the incident in the Orewa house late in the afternoon and her condition was listed as critical.

However, police said today she was released about midnight and her condition was probably listed as critical because there was a lot of blood.
