Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign shop is now selling "The Everyday Pantsuit Tee" What's a pantsuit? Well, it's just a suit really. With trousers. For ladies. Clinton has often made fun of her reputation for wearing them. As Jamie Fuller at NYMag.com explains: "In advance of her 2016 presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton made a daring choice to embrace her most aggravating legacy ... the pantsuit. Since no one else will stop making less-than-funny jokes about her completely reasonable choice of attire, she's decided to become the canon's most prolific contributor. The joke was always poisoned, but Clinton has spent the last few years building up a resistance to it." Her other campaign swag - a cross-stitch cushion saying: "A woman's place is in the White House".
Misheard lyrics #1
Alan Billington writes: "In 1983 while working for a US company on a construction project in Korea, a bunch of American crew were singing hard out on the bus en route to the site to Land Down Under by Men at Work. (Buying bread from a man in Brussels, He was six-foot-four and full of muscles ... ) I said, 'Do you speak-a my language?' He just smiled and gave me a 'piece of my sandwich'. Being the only Kiwi on board, I advised that the words in fact are 'Vegemite sandwich'. The response? 'WTF is Vegemite?'"
Misheard lyrics #2
"I wonder if anyone else remembers this," wonders Penny. "Way, way back in the day, I remember my Dad laughing his head off. And he swears this is true. At the time the John Rowles song Cheryl Moana Marie was being played rather a lot. One woman called up a radio station, quite indignant, because she thought he was singing, 'Share your marijuana with me'."
What are the odds?
"Was on my way to work yesterday - in Blockhouse Bay around 7.40am - when this happened!" writes Nancy Lan. " Yes, the one on the left says Hello!"

Local: Someone is stealing the delicious and nutritious "ornamental veg" from the flower beds in Albert Park. A reader explains: "Lots of veges (cabbage, silverbeat, lettuce etc) have been planted very prettily in Albert Park gardens in the past week or so and now these signs have popped up ... It just seemed quite tone deaf for whoever is in charge of it to plant all these expensive veges to be "ornamental" particularly given how visible poverty is in this part of the central city."
