Emergency services were called to the scene of a serious crash in South Auckland this morning.
A police spokesperson said a car collided with a power pole on Gilbert Rd, Ōtara, at about 5.35am.
“Two people were transported to hospital with critical injuries,” they said.
“Traffic management isin place – it looks like traffic is being diverted at the intersections of Gilbert Rd and Lappington Rd, and Gilbert Rd and Franich St."
