A male pedestrian has been killed in a car crash on Auckland's North Shore.
The crash happened on Rosedale Rd in Pinehill near the intersection of Hugh Green Drive, a police spokeswoman said.
Police were called by St John Ambulance at 6.01pm.
"Attempts were made to revive the man at
the scene but unfortunately these were unsuccessful," police said.
A section of Rosedale Rd between Triton Drive and Apollo Drive is closed and traffic is being diverted.
