Rant On visiting The Warehouse at Manukau, I hopped out of my car and before I had even closed the door the parking warden was there marking my tyre. I said, "Thisis totally unacceptable to mark tyres before I have even left my car", so I rubbed the chalk mark off and he rechalked it and called me an idiot. Come on, Warehouse, do you want customers or not? Get your parking wardens under control because I am not the only one who is complaining about your staff.

Rave A huge thank-you to the lovely people who live on Williamson Ave in Grey Lynn who helped us out when we were involved in a car accident on Monday evening. Thanks for looking after us and making sure we were all okay. Your kindness is appreciated! So glad no one was injured.
Rant To the disrespectful drivers who use the cemetery in Otahuhu as a short cut during the rush hour in the mornings: you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Rave A big thank-you to the competitors of New Zealand Arm Wrestling at The Flying Moa restaurant/bar in Mt Wellington on Saturday night. After watching them wrestle for a few hours, my 8-year-old daughter Rebekah went up and asked for a match, to which they duly agreed, not once but twice. Needless to say she won! This made her day; the smile and jumps for joy said it all. Well done, guys.
