Rave Have just taken my eight-and-half-months-pregnant daughter to the Civic Theatre to see Singing in the Rain.
The staff were so helpful and friendly arranging for her to use the speciallift to get to her seat and at the interval coming to make sure she was okay and did not need other assistance. At the end of the show they checked to make sure she had easy access to the exit. Cannot say thank you enough for how they looked after us. Also have to say it was an awesome show. Enjoyed by all of us.

Rant Drivers in the half light of morning, especially dull ones, more especially if the street lights are still on, drive without their headlights on. Same at the other end of the day. Are they so half awake or half-witted or both to be safe behind the wheel?
Rave Well done to the lovely staff who attended me last Saturday morning in the emergency room at Middlemore Hospital. You need a medal for your wonderful service.
Rant It's not good to see schoolgirls dropping drink bottles on the ground. Will they still be doing this when they're adults and will their children do the same?

Rave Many, many thanks to Westpac Bank in Howick. My father had a "turn" while there. Staff phoned me, drove him home, and waited with him until I arrived. Awesome Customer Service Westpac!

Rant To the commuters who drive down Pakuranga Rd in the mornings. What part of "keep clear" at St Kentigern College intersection do you not understand? This is to be kept free for traffic emerging from the school. Also the pedestrian crossing at the same site is to be kept clear. Please drive with more consideration.
