A Qantas flight scheduled to land in Wellington has been turned around due to a medical event.
An airline spokesman said a passenger had a "medical issue" 30 minutes into the flight from Melbourne.
He said flight QF171 landed back in Melbourne where the passenger was met by emergency services.
The Boeing 737-800 with a capacity of 180 passengers has departed for Wellington again.
