National Party chief press secretary Michael Forbes has resigned to take up a senior communications role in the public service.
The former Stuff reporter joined National's media team in 2019 and has worked under leaders Simon Bridges, Todd Muller and Judith Collins.
He has resigned to
take up a position at the Ministry of Social Development.
