The Lego Movie was a huge hit earlier in the year - and here are some possible candidates for a political sequel.
These Lego versions of New Zealand's political leaders were created to help illustrate online discussion threads on nzherald.co.nz from next week until the election on September 20. They were put together digitally by P.K. Stowers, one of the Herald's online editors.
"These little guys, and others, will help us add some colour to our online election coverage over the next month," says Stowers. "The aim isn't to ridicule our politicians, it just gives us a few more options than using the same old photos of a politician surrounded by reporters, or arguing in Parliament." His favourite is Peter Dunne. "I love the bow-tie and I think I got his hair just right."
