Police are treating the death of a motorcyclist in a Bay of Plenty crash as suspicious.
Bay of Plenty field crime manager Detective Inspector Lew Warner said a motorcycle and van collided on State Highway 35 about 2.40pm yesterday.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, opposite the Raukokore Marae, near
Te Kaha.
"An initial investigation was carried out by the serious crash unit and the crash is now being treated as suspicious," Warner said.
