Police officers ran up a busy Auckland on-ramp leading to State Highway 1 during rush-hour traffic as they gave chase to an allegedly stolen vehicle.
A witness reported “cops running everywhere” up the Khyber Pass Rd motorway on-ramp in Newmarket shortly after5pm on Thursday.
“Police had information about a vehicle seen travelling along Khyber Pass Rd at around 5pm,” a police spokesperson said.
“The vehicle had earlier been reported stolen from the North Shore.
