Police respond to incident in Lower Hutt, public urged to avoid area

Police are responding to an incident in Lower Hutt.

Police have asked the public to avoid part of Lower Hutt while they respond to an incident.

People are advised to avoid the “area of Cornwall St between Waterloo Rd and Queens Grove“.

Fire and Emergency services said they were at the scene to assist police.

There is currently no threat to public safety.
