Police are investigating the death of a child in Masterton.

An investigation is under way into the unexplained death of a child in Masterton.

A police spokesperson said officers were called to an address on Railway Crescent just after 2pm on Sunday.

The spokesperson said police are making inquiries “on behalf of the coroner”.

The autopsy is expected to take place today.
