Police are investigating the circumstances of the death of a young man who was found at his family home today.
Police are investigating after a young man was found dead in his family's house in Hunua today.
Officers were called to the address on Nairn Rd at 12.44pm after being contacted by relatives.
The man, in his 20s, was deceased when they arrived and a pathologist was asked to come
to the scene.
A police spokesman said the pathologist had deemed the death to be suspicious.
"One line of inquiry we are pursuing is whether or not [the man] was assaulted whilst out the previous night."
