Police investigate fatal motorised bike crash near Whanganui Airport

A person has died after a crash at a beach near Whanganui Airport.

A police spokesperson said the crash involved a “motorised bike”.

They said emergency services were called to the scene on Airport Rd at 4.40pm yesterday.

“Sadly, one person was confirmed deceased at the scene.”

They said investigations are continuing into the death.
