Save A man injured in a fight outside a Papatoetoe bar last night was not as seriously injured as initially thought, police say.
The man was knocked to the ground by a group of people during a brawl on the corner of Great South Rd and Charles St shortly after 4am.
He was initially thought to be in a critical condition but police spokeswoman Kimberley Mathews said his injuries had been reassessed as minor.
Police were following positive leads of inquiry as they looked for the offender or offenders.
