A police car was rammed three times on the North Shore this morning.
A police car was rammed three times by a ute in a high-speed pursuit on Auckland's North Shore this morning.
The pursuit began after police were called to a reported theft at a Glenfield address about 7.30am.
The ute's driver, described as a white man in his 30s or early
40s, rammed the vehicle into a police car three times before fleeing to Lincoln Rd, Henderson.
Police tried to stop the vehicle with road spikes but the ute's driver swerved the vehicle into oncoming traffic, hitting another car.
Nobody was injured but police decided to abandon the chase.
