A second small plane has landed safely at Ardmore Airport after experiencing electrical problems.
A fire service spokeswoman said the two passengers were being checked by ambulance staff.
Fire Service crews were at the South Auckland airport before the plane landed after it reported having electrical problems.
The spokeswoman said the plane had enough fuel to remain in the air until everything was in place for an emergency landing.
Earlier today a light aircraft with three people on board landed safely after an emergency was declared at the airport.
