Pizza maker remanded on Latimer Square murder charge

A 34-year-old Christchurch man appeared in the Christchurch District Court this morning charged with the murder of a Mozambican refugee on Saturday.
Abraham Neho, a pizza maker, was remanded in custody to March 21 for a pre depositions conference on the charge of murdering Hussein Ndongo, aged 29.
Neho was also charged
with the theft of a $50 watch from Mr Ndongo.
Mr Ndongo's body was found in Latimer Square, Christchurch, early on Saturday morning.
Forty-five police were involved in the homicide inquiry.
