Picton landmark hotel crumbles

A Picton landmark, the 123-year-old Terminus Hotel, crumbled this week.

The building, condemned as an earthquake risk, will be replaced by a multi-million-dollar apartment and retail complex named The Terminus Apartments.

The property's owner, Bill Davison, said tenders for the new building would be called shortly. He hoped it would be completed in six to nine months.
