Person seriously injured after South Auckland crash

A motorist is seriously injured following a crash in Otara, South Auckland, this evening.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on Gilbert Rd about 7.30pm.

The injured person is being transported to hospital in a serious condition, a police spokesperson said.

Gilbert Rd is currently closed due to the crash, motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
