A person has died after being hit by a vehicle in central west Auckland.
The crash on Commodore Dr, Lynfield, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, was reported to police just after 8am.
The pedestrian was transported to hospital in a critical condition, however died shortly after arriving,
a police spokesperson said.
The Serious Crash Unit attended and inquiries into the circumstances of the crash were underway.
