A person has died following a single-vehicle crash in Mataura, Southland late last night.
Police said authorities were called to the crash on Oakland Street at about 10.05pm.
“Sadly, the sole occupant died at the scene.
“The Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene and the death will be referred
to the coroner.”
